Operational notification #52: Port Drive Upgrade – Out of hours' work and changes to traffic

From 6am Saturday 11 November to 5am Monday 13 November, out of hours work will be carried out along sections of Port Drive and Lucinda Drive Bridge, weather and site conditions permitting.

From 6am to 6pm on Saturday 11 November, temporary work structures for Lucinda Drive Bridge will be removed.

The Port Drive section between Bulk Terminal Drive and Lucinda Drive Bridge, will be closed to all traffic.

All outbound / southbound / citybound traffic will be diverted via Port Drive northbound, Bishop Drive, Lucinda Drive southbound to re-join Port Drive near Captain Bishop Bridge.

From 6pm Saturday 11 November to 5am on Monday 13 November, road pavement and road surfacing works will be carried out at the Kite Street roundabout.

All traffic will be diverted onto the northbound carriageway in a contraflow arrangement around the Kite Street roundabout.

From 6pm Saturday 11 November to 5am on Monday 13 November, roadworks will be carried out in the section between Lucinda Drive Bridge and Whimbrel Street, Fisherman Islands. Activities will include saw cutting, excavation across Lucinda Drive and guard rail installation work.

All traffic will be diverted via Bulk Terminal Drive roundabout, Fisherman Islands.

Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct motorists during these times. Minor delays are expected and motorists are advised to allow extra travel time for their journeys. The boat ramp will remain open during these times.
