Operational notification #39: Port Drive Upgrade – Temporary traffic arrangements – Lucinda Drive and Tanker Street

Lucinda Drive
Girders for Lucinda Drive Bridge will be installed from Wednesday 6 September – marking a significant milestone for the Port Drive Upgrade Project.

Traffic delays on Lucinda Drive Bridge may be experienced while the 140-tonne girders are being lifted into position. For the safety of road users, traffic control will be in place to hold / direct motorists while this lifting activity is underway.

Tanker Street works
On Saturday 9 September out of hours’ work will be carried on Tanker Street from 6am to 6pm. All traffic for Tanker Street (Caltex Lubricants Plant, Elgas, QUU and iOR) will be diverted via Kite Street and the new Osprey Drive connection road (see diagram below). This detour will also be in place on Monday 11 September from 6am to 6pm.

We thank all motorists for their patience while this work is underway. Should you have any queries, please contact the Port Drive Project team via email community@seymourwhyte.com.au or contact the 24hr project hotline 1800 895 929.
