Where we are
The Port of Brisbane is strategically positioned at the mouth of the Brisbane River, free from urban encroachment and with room to grow, the port is located 24km from Brisbane's Central Business District and in close proximity to Brisbane Airport.
The main port complex is situated on the southern side of the Brisbane River with other landholdings and facilities located at Lytton (Port West), Hemmant, Colmslie, Pinkenba, Eagle Farm, and Hamilton.
Privately owned and operated wharves are located at Pinkenba, Bulwer Island, Gibson Island and the Bulimba Reach of the Brisbane River. The Multiplex owned and operated cruise terminal - Portside Wharf - is located in the Hamilton Reach of the river
How to get to the port
The main port complex is located in the suburb, Port of Brisbane, on the south side of the Brisbane River.

Port limits extend geographically from Port Cartwright, north of Brisbane, to Breakfast Creek, approximately 16km upstream of the river mouth, and include the 90km shipping channel.
